In order to promote business development and enhance public understanding of the postal business, Chunghwa Post primarily founded the Postal Museum on December 1, 1965. However it was located at Hsintien Shitou Road where is remote and not easily accessible. To fulfill its original intent as a form of social education, the Museum was relocated to the current location in 1984. The Postal Museum has quantitative and valuable collections and multiple display methods.
