Dates:2021/03/09 ~ 2021/05/23
Event Location:Postal Museum Taipei Branch

Flowers and butterflies are the symbols of spring. While colorful flowers are in full bloom, butterflies fly over them. Due to the particularity of geography and topography, Taiwan has bred rich and diverse ecological species. In addition, the unique climate environment is also suitable for the growth of flowers. Among the more than 300 butterfly species that inhabit here, about 50 of them are endemic. During the Japanese occupation period, it was known as the "Butterfly Kingdom." In the fields of natural science and humanities, flowers and butterflies are the material of environmental education and the Muse of artistic creators. The Museum planned to organize this special exhibition displaying postage stamps related to flowers and butterflies, so as to let the public enjoy the fascinating beauty of flowers and butterflies through a square inch, and thus promoting philatelic culture and ecological protection education.
